Push X Pull just made it into my Top 10 Portland coffee shops — and easily Top 3 in SE PDX. I found this gem thanks to a recommendation from a barista at another spot, and I’m glad I followed the lead. Tucked away in Southeast Portland, Push X Pull nails that balance of great coffee, vibes, and an inviting space. Plenty of street parking, friendly staff, and overall just a really comfortable atmosphere. It was my first visit, but definitely not my last. Give it a try — I think you’ll be glad you did. PUSH PULL | Stark is a fantastic café! The coffee is excellent—one of the best I’ve had in Portland. The space is beautiful and relaxing, and the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. It’s a must-visit every time I’m in the downtown. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great coffee experience in a cozy setting!
Delicious coffee and excellent service. This is a great place to chill and do work or study. A lot of light comes in from the ceiling tall windows and there are outlets throughout to charge your phone or laptop.
Great, tasty coffees focused on fermentation/processing. House drip great, pour overs fantastic, loved that you could taste the beans on the menu before buying.
This is a pretty cool place located off Stark. We came here before getting breakfast down the street. I tried their Thirst Trap - which was an expresso tonic with a strawberry and lime cordial. The drink was good and had a unique flavor to it. The people working here were friendly and quick to make our drinks.

Amazing coffee, very cool looking location and incredibly knowledgeable baristas! Wow, they serve up some amazing coffee. Got a pourover from China, and it was just incredible. Super fragrant, creamy, fruity and very well-extracted. The location has a certain theme to it. For the most part they are consistent with their branding, with my small nitpick being that the cup should have been blue as well Had a wonderful time here, definitely recommend coming here to try out some great beans!
This is a coffee person's coffee shop. Seriously one of the best in not only Oregon, but the entire west coast. Not to say anyone couldn't have an amazing experience here, but if you're like REALLY into coffee, you are gonna have a good time. The bean selection is unmatched, typically 8-12 offerings varying in origin, varietal, and process methods. From extremely approachable, to exotic and funky, they have it all. World class farmers and producers are always available here. The baristas are always nice, and knowledgeable. They ALWAYS have at least one alternate espresso, and sometimes two alternates. Ensuring that If you want something a little out of the usual realm, something funky, fruity and exciting, or just something to spice up your regular shop order, you can have it. Of course they also keep a consistent regular espresso, for those who need to know they are going to have the same experience time and time again. Don't sleep on this shop. Trust me. I'm a avid coffee enthusiast, am no way affiliated with push and pull, and I get nothing out of this. I just want to assist my fellow weird coffee people in finding the right shop.
Had the Suzy which was nice, though I’m not sure how I feel about the Himalayan salt. Also had a decaf pour over which was delicious. It was wonderfully juicy and very enjoyable. I’d come back for the pour overs. Interior is cozy and crowded. I came here late morning/noon.
Great Service! Friendly employees! Coffee was great. Restroom and lobby was clean. There's no parking lot, visitor must park on the street. It is wheelchair accessible. A+++
Update (Oct 2021): During my trip to Portland, I had a great cup of latte at Push X Pull. Great coffee, friendly barista and bright space make it a wonderful place to stay inside for a little bit when it rains outside. Original (Feb 2021): I stumbled upon Push x Pull a while ago and had an excellent latte. Really dig their vibe, there is a mixture and contrast of calm and exuberance. It feels very urban, fits well into its artsy neighborhood and attracts a trendy crowd. I marked it on my maps to come back one day but now I'll have to leave it for my next Portland trip.
One of the best place to enjoy coffee, i love their cappuccino and is my recommended for here.

Seriously some of the BEST COFFEE in Portland you will ever taste. Chris and his crew are amazing, super friendly and accommodating. Very welcoming cafe space and typically open seating if you need to work or study. Would highly recommend!!!
They served the best cappuccino of my trip to Portland. It was like a buttery cloud, which is wild because it was dairy-free. The interior is chic, and the baristas were very friendly to talk to. For coffee lovers this place is worth going out of your way to visit.
